Early Life and family :
Pastor John Talukdar born at Dakatia of Jashore District in 1958. His father Pastor Jatin Talukder and Mother Purnyomoye Talukder. He has three brothers and four sisters and he is the second son of his parents.
He married in 1981 with Beauty Biswas. She was a member of Baptist Church. Ms. Beauty got salvation in a Family Prayer Meeting and she was filled by Holy Spirit in 22.7.1982. Pastor John Talukdar & Beauty Biswas has three sons. His elder son is Rony who service to lord with his life & Family. His 2nd Son Rocky Talukder who is Evangelist & leading largest Christian media network in Bangla & He also take a children orphanage home and Rocky`s wife Papiya Mary is blessed worship leader & preacher of Gospel in Kolkata, India. Pastor John`s youngest son Tony is a pastor & he also preaching the word of God.
Pastor John’s parents studied at Rupsha AG Church
Bible School in Khulna. His father Ps JatinTalukder was pastoring at Satkhira and at the
same time evangelizing another city called Jashore. After that he was transferred
to Pithabari AG Church, Gopalganj. During political restlessness in the
liberation period, his father with his family took shelter in his
father-in-law’s home. After Independence of Bangladesh, he was started work
with Rev. Smith R Adhikari till to his retirement. His father was in ministry when Bangladesh was part of East Pakistan. He was 3rd generation Christian & 1st generation in the ministry as Evangelist & later as a Pastor. He worked as principal at Home Of Blessings Orphanage & Poor Children Home with Christian Service Society (CSS). His wife was so prayerful lady & very good in Children ministry.
Pastor John Talukdar`s Father had great impacted in the nation to bring gospel to people. In that time when there was no internet or computer to keep his all ministry history but 104 years his live told us how faithful he was in God`s mission.
In 1975, Mr. John Talukdar fled away to India by the
conspiracy of a boy and meet to his uncle (Mama) at Chittaranjan Cancer
Hospital, Kolkata After two months, his uncle got a letter from his father to get John’s
news and returned him to Bangladesh. His study stopped there.
His father Mr. Jatin Talukder
would pray every day with tear for Mr. John so that he would work for the
Kingdom of God. Eventually John joined to Every Home Contact to distribute Christian
booklets among non-Christians in the street and home to home and started working in Jessore district from the
second half of December, 1975. His father helped to get his evangelism work start. From 1975 there It was the start of the ministry of Pastor John Talukdar.
